- 06:00 AM: Depart from Kampala and head towards Kayabwe, where the Uganda Equator is located (about 1.5 to 2 hours’ drive).
- 08:30 AM: Arrive at the Equator. Take time for a memorable photo opportunity while standing in both the northern and southern hemispheres. Explore the educational exhibits and local crafts shops, where you can purchase souvenirs.
- 09:30 AM: Enjoy a quick refreshment or a cup of coffee at one of the nearby cafes
- 10:00 AM: Continue driving towards Lake Mburo National Park, arriving after approximately 1.5 hours.
- 11:30 AM: Arrive at the park and head straight into a game drive through the park. You’ll have the chance to spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, topis, warthogs, and several bird species as you drive through the rolling savannahs and acacia woodlands.
- 01:00 PM: Stop for a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots within the park or at the park's restaurant.
- 02:30 PM: After lunch, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Mburo. Enjoy the serene waters while watching hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife along the shores. Keep an eye out for the African fish eagle, kingfishers, and cormorants.
- 04:00 PM: Begin the journey back to Kampala, exiting Lake Mburo National Park.
- 07:00 PM: Arrive in Kampala and drop off at your hotel or residence.
